If you wish to obtain the MS-DOS version of Midget, you'll want to grab Midget 2.x or earlier. The Windows versions are Midget 3.x and up.

Most of the files on this page are freely distributable and this is encouraged, except where otherwise noted.

• Midget 3.52 BETA
  This version fixes a bug that caused Midget to crash when being used with the Microsoft GS Synth driver. You need to have Midget 3.5 installed first, and unpack this to Midget's program folder. Please note that there are other undocumented behaviour changes. The manual hasn't been updated, so there will be some inconsistencies between the online help and the program itself.
• Midget 3.51
  The latest official release of Midget for Windows. This is an improved version of Midget, which has new features, and is generally an improvement over Midget 3.0. There is now a chord generator, an improved instrument editor and configuration dialog, and many other minor tweaks. Now has 25-level undo and resizeable main program window. Also supplied is an in-depth manual, in Windows Help format.
• Midget 3.51 Tutorial
  Midget isn't the most easy to use program in the world. This is an introductory course on how to use Midget 3.51. It's designed to fit A5-sized paper when printed.
• Instrument List for Yamaha DJX PSR-D1
  Contributed by "The Penguin" - place this in your Midget program folder and load it in Midget to gain access to the sounds/instruments available on this device.

• Midget 2.03
  Mainly aimed at people who haven't used Midget before, this has more documentation, a "Welcome to Midget" screen (with some brief instructions), scrolling hints and tips at the bottom of the screen (where the web address usually is - this can be turned off via a new option), and various other features to make new users feel comfortable with Midget 2. There is also a revised MIDI file generator, which is almost identical to the one in Midget 3.0.
• Midget 2.02b
  This is an older release of Midget II, which is provided here for anyone who doesn't want the hassle of scrolling tips and information boxes. Most of the tiled images from the download pack are included - plus more new ones.
